HERE APIs through Placematic are available under two models. The Asset-based Plan is priced per tracked asset per month — predictable costs regardless of API call volume, ideal for fleet operators tracking vehicles or equipment. The Call Volume Plan is priced per API call with volume discounts — better suited for SaaS platforms embedding HERE APIs into their product. Placematic passes through HERE Gold Partner pricing, which is typically 20–50% below standard HERE list prices. We’ll recommend the right model on the first call.
Most ELD and fleet platforms are live within 2–5 days from pilot access. You get API credentials scoped to your use case on day one, a flat per-call rate, and direct access to Placematic engineers via Slack. There’s no procurement detour, no separate HERE negotiation, and no custom integration project standing between you and production.
