What the EV Routing API delivers

Energy-aware route calculation

Calculate routes based on actual vehicle energy consumption — not just distance or time. Factors in topography, speed profiles, temperature, and weather conditions that affect battery drain. Returns routes optimized for range efficiency, not just shortest path.

Automatic charging stop insertion

Identifies where and how long a vehicle needs to charge along the route. Factors in connector type compatibility (Tesla, CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T), maximum charge levels, charging curves (0–80%), station power output, and desired arrival charge at the destination.

Custom EV vehicle profiles

Define precise EV parameters — vehicle weight, frontal area, drag coefficient, auxiliary consumption, recuperation efficiency, and charging infrastructure settings. The API uses these parameters to calculate energy consumption accurately per vehicle, not generic estimates.
