    A pilot is a structured evaluation period where we configure the Placematic platform for your specific use case — your territory structure, your locations, your team size. It’s not a generic sandbox or a self-serve trial. We set it up with you, within 1 business day of your request.

    The pilot covers all Placematic SaaS products — UpGrid for territory management, UpInsight for geomarketing analytics, and Pos-Eye for store locator and site scoring. Tell us your primary use case in the form and we’ll configure the right product for your evaluation.

    We define the pilot duration together based on your use case — typically 2–4 weeks. There’s no automatic conversion to a paid plan when the pilot ends. If Placematic fits your needs, we discuss a production plan together. If it doesn’t, we tell you honestly.

    No. UpGrid is browser-based and built for operations managers and business teams — not GIS specialists. You draw territories on a map, import location data in standard formats, and manage everything through a web interface. No desktop software, no coordinate systems, no technical setup required.

    There’s no minimum. We work with teams managing 5 territories and teams managing 500+. The pilot is scoped to your actual size — not a one-size-fits-all environment.

    Yes. UpGrid accepts CSV, GeoJSON, and common spatial file formats. If your data is in a spreadsheet, we’ll help you get it into the platform during the onboarding call.

    No. Pilot access is provided at no cost. There is no credit card required and no automatic billing at the end of the pilot period.

    We review your request and reach out within 1 business day to confirm your use case and schedule a brief onboarding call. After the call, we configure your pilot environment and send you access credentials. You’ll be working in the platform within 1–2 business days of submitting.
