HERE pricing is based on three things: which APIs you use, your monthly call volume, and contract length. There are two main models — transaction-based pricing (per API call, typical for SaaS teams and platforms) and asset-based pricing (per tracked asset per month, ideal for fleets). Yes — and the free allowance depends on the product. HERE Geocoding & Search includes 30,000 free transactions per month, Matrix Routing 2,500, and Tour Planning 500. Routing draws from a 5,000 transactions per month free tier. Above the free tier, you only pay for what you use, and volume lowers the rate.
HERE Routing draws from the 5,000 transactions per month free tier, then bills pay-as-you-grow on volume tiers — higher monthly request counts unlock lower per-1,000 rates. Partner pricing through Placematic is typically below list. For high-volume fleets, asset-based (per-vehicle) pricing is often far cheaper than transaction billing.
